Borderlands 4

There was but multiple attempts and it wasn't working. One random reddit comment got me back and restored, phew.

For anyone else: your saves are in the save file as 1.sav or 2.sav. might be TMP files if power outage. Gotta change the extension. Win11 wasn't cooperating with me to change the extension and update it. So had to copy files to a other disk, change extension and copy back. That worked.

That had to be a relief. I turned off cloud storage when BL was an Epic exclusive as I used to lose progress a lot. Never had an issue with Steam though.

I tried linking my 2K account for the extra keys but it won't let me in. I tried a Password reset but give me a bogus link. After trying a few times says my account will be locked.

I turned it off on steam for this game for a bit , then decided its better on. First start after the crash I knew something was wrong because it went back thru the screen setup, options process. But as soon as I closed the game it updated the steam cloud with a blank save. No historical files visible in steam cloud viewer online.

So if you do have a save loss, alt tab and download your cloud info from the web access and then find your local files and copy them to a new location before quitting.

Yeah, I just deleted the game. I was too far in (around ~20 hours) to refund it but I just wasn't enjoying it. I really tried but the laborious quests, endless maps, climbing mountains, etc. all weren't fun. It's really disappointing since I have played (and finished) every other Borderlands installment. On the bright side, I'm going to save a small fortune not having to buy all the DLC now!
 
I was having a blast until BF6 interrupted me. Now I am at about 70%+ story and in the middle city but not really progressing as all the time I am in the battle field.

I probably should have mentioned I have been farming various bosses every couple levels for certain legendaries.
 
i'm 45 hours in and about to go into the center portion of the map.

Level 45 i think. I've been doing all side missions whever I can before mains.

Only thing now I wish I could find was a better Vex class item..I've been using t he same one since like level 18 or something that and maybe a super awesome Jakobs mod item whatever they are called. Did get lucky on the second spider lady fight...dropped a super nice Jakobs assualt rifle even though it was only blue but bumped my damage up by over 300. Vex + some kill skills going kind of melts people.

I found many purples to be just as good as some legendary gear, most of my stuff is currently legendary now, but my assault rifle is purple, a high rate of fire and over 4500dps.
 
I just got into the low 30s with my Vex run and didn’t think much about her until now. Kinetic dmg and hot slugger ftw.
 
Weird someone who liked the other games hates this one. Compated to 1,2,and pre its grest. Compared to 3 its amazing.

3 was so forgettable only thing i remember is the shitty girl on fire song from the credits.

4 i think i may remember a bit more.

1,2, pre were amazing games though. 4 has no memorable chacaters but is still lightyears vetter than 3.
 
I irealy hope they improve the echo-4 gps thingie as the amount of times it has steered me wrong is almost as big as the amount of times it get's it right.

Also what's up wuth the shields, most of those I find in the last 20 orso levels are around 3-4k, while I'm using an 11k one, they don't seem to go up anymore.
 
Damn, the last city already has 39 level enemies and I was level 36. Time to do some sides. Died twice back to back due to stupidity.

Will level up and continue the main.

They get boring pretty quickly, random loot is random, you can open a dozen of them and not find anything usefull, have tons of them left one BL2 and BL3

Yeah saw those last night I won't blow though these keys untill I have a dozen the gear I have should be good to level 30. I did farm the Psycho Boss like 20 times got some really good Gernade mods and my Hellhound Shotgun.

I hope Gearbox has better warps to all the bosses some are locked behind quests that I completed. Still haven't finished the Game I need to Hunt down Vault Fragments in the 2nd area.

Some of the boss battles in this game are no joke, I tried the rippa road birds and got my ass kicked, and I have really good weapons and gear. Frank the furnace is another one, while I managed to take him down I lost several other times. I almost think some of these fights are for two or more people.

I think my biggest disappointment with this game is the quality of the loot dropped, some of these boss fights are a total bitch, and to get green and blue weapons with a few purples consistently just sucks. The legendary drops are very few, although some people seem to have better luck than others.

Well BL3 had supposedly too many legendary drops, which I can understand, at lvl 15 or 20 you were usually only using legendaries anymore.

As ro the boss battles I don't think they are too hard, I one shotted most of them although some did take me a long time to kill but then again I did not farm any bosses for specific loot and was mostly using sniper rifles to kill trash and those are not as usefull in faster paced fights like boss battles, some legendaries can last you 10+ levels used an AR from lvl 21 to 35 that I got from the legenday loot machine quest.

I’ve been grinding my way to level UVH3 and that’s where it been a real slog. Some boss fights are easy, while some are very tough. Idk if you tried the rippa road birds on UVH2 but that fight throws everything at you. Most of these fights have been unrewarding. But overall the game is fun, I’m just finding grinding my way to UVH5 is a real bitch.
 
Did my first vault today. Harder than end game by far. Got my butt handed to me so much I had to change my self built rafa build for a ricochet rafa build from online. New build is great fun though and finished the vault with quite a few downs but mad it thru. Loot was dissapointing
