I feel like it’s the best source to get legendary gear to an extent, farming for me usually has little reward. I just don’t have the time or patience to farm bosses 100 times over to get one legendary to drop.

I like farming I just wish I knew what Bosses dropped what without having to look it up. As long as you don't go bezerk in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode I'm not there yet.
I did that with BL3 stuff became really difficult.

It's mostly a single player game. Go load up a cheat engine and play it broken to your heart's content. I don't see the difference.

No idea. If they're cheating in co-op, I hope they get banned. Single player? I don't have a problem with it.

My comment was being facetious. I was comparing people crying over a major nerf to cheaters.
 
3 more keys dropped today have a total of 9 from 0 a week ago 12 more work days for my next vacation I'm going to give myself a break from work before I play extender gaming sessions. I want to try a vibrating plate but hear horror stories of people getting pinched ribs.

I found out just recently that you could go on EBay and purchase an item you are looking for. You pay for the item and provide the seller your Shift ID and they send you an invite, and you join their game and they give you the item. I guess it’s good for those who don’t have the time to farm bosses for hours on end.

but why do you need the gear then?
 
I had fun grinding some of the bosses in Borderlands 3. I bet I played that "Revenge of the Cartels" level hundreds times trying to get the perfect OPQ and Yellowcake drops.
I haven't really experienced that in 4. I feel like there are more good weapons, but I'm not encountering a lot that feel truly unique. Legendaries or otherwise. Even at level 50 with a bank nearly full of gold gear, I find myself defaulting to the best Jacobs drops for each weapon type regardless of color.

they don't drop the legendaries they are in the rewards in your inventry if you are lucky.

Ok, didn't get anything there either. Probably worse, as either skins or blues.

Edit: Ok, upon closer inspection it seems I got a pumpkin head cosmetic. Whoopty Doo!

All I seem to get is purples and less, it's very rare for a legendary to drop, I've gotten more through the golden chest. A friend did give me a wombo combo though, it's a kick ass assault rifle. I also have a bunch of Bod shotguns which are great.

I've gotten most of mine through the vending machine (saving the golden keys for lvl 50). I'll get like 2 or 3 within an hour then won't see a single one again for days. The RNG in this game is a bitch.
 
I found this, which at first glance just seems nothing special:

But after using it discovered it has a hidden stat:

Basically, it's got a CoV stat where you can keep firing it until it overheats. Well, that takes about ~30 rockets of holding down the button for 15 seconds. As long as I don't go ham, I've got an unlimited ordinance rocket launcher that homes and has a 1/4 chance of elemental damage.

It's pretty broken, honestly. Yet another non-legendary putting them to shame.

Hot slugger and borstel ballista are two very good kinetic Jakob’s legendaries. They’re my staple weapons on my Vex kinetic/bleed build.

I know this is setting the bar low, but they did recently fix the annoying inventory bugs where it wouldn't remember your filter AND the most annoying one of all where when you mark an item for trash and what not, it's actually the item your cursor was over. Having favorited items trashed at no fault of my own was super annoying.

Otherwise, I agree with you.
 
Finally got time to beat the game, with a nice torgue like heavy weapon the time keeper and arjay missions went through like butter, 5 mins on each, this is on normal but nice to see a game get easier at the final levels. Also the last patch finally made it stable at higher than medium lighting settings on my 5090 (everything else was maxed out to begin with) and a bit faster at 1200p high on the 4070 m on which I finished it. Quit the wildcard ultimate vault hunter mission coz I am done with the game for now and I hate playing anything again. Fun but wish it had shipped in this state 2 months ago.

What level did you finish the game? I'm still working on it. I got 26 tonight tried the drilling site fro Xp bosses are too strong.

Level 27, with the legendary torgue like heavy weapon, everything including the time keeper and Arjay fall into submission...normal difficulty though, I barely have time as is...think I got this weapon on the ascenion final part of the map fwiw (pic below, HDR/DV on the Legion so tone mapping is messed up I think in the pic, game looks gorgeous on both the AW32 OLED and the DV500 screen on the Legion).

I ran into the Halloween event just a Dome with Ivan who is pretty strong but you can 2nd wind with adds. Found the Skull Grenade with a Gold Key it's slow and nothing special in screenshot here. Ivan dropped a really good healing syringe though had 1000 healing with a level 27 character.

You must've stuck to the core missions. I've been at level 50 for a while and I haven't even been to the center area at all. Since you can replay any missions/bosses at will, I've been doing pretty much everything in my path. Those eridium enemies with the purple spikes are now popping up all the time and they drop boatloads of items. Once I learned to shoot the crystals on those guys, they're mostly a breeze. Especially if I have Rafa's cannons available.
 
I just made it to UVH3 last night. I’m using some very nice gear that includes the wombo combo, the oscar mike, several bod shotguns and the slippy grenade. I also have the firewerks shield and repkit triple bypass. I got a Amon build off of Moblytics that is ready for UVH5, I can pretty much one shot just about anything, although due to my weapons I end up killing myself more than they killing me.😂

I have to find out where the Halloween event is, from what I hear it’s nothing like BL3’s blood harvest.

Halloween is just Orange Domes in place of World Bosses.
