I recently tried to reinstall my Canon CanoScan1240U Scanner (using a driver downloaded from the Canon Website) and a scanning utility program off of the original installation disk.

I have an 8x NEC Model#: ND-2510A DVD burner and I want to update/flash the firmware for my drive. How do you do it and where do you download the firmware?
I have 3 PCs(wired), one PS2(wired), one laptop (wireless), one PDA (wireless) all connect through a Linksys WRT54G. It works very well so far.

Have you try My Computer--->Control Panel--->Add Hardware and install your card manually? What about another different PCI slot on the same mobo? If all of that doesn't help, try to install that card in another PC.
I put a window XP disk in my CD-RW, set CD-RW as the 1st boot device and I got this "NTLDR is missing" error

hard drive-works fine
cable-works fine
XP disk-works fine
What could be the problem?
