Exactly! Having other deterrents in place is key to security. I honestly believe that without precautionary measures, security cannot be taken for granted...service pack, or no service pack.Ranma_Sao said:snip, snip, snip... I had other deterrents in place, strong passwords on all shares, and up to date on patches. They weren't able to breach my box, and yes I verified that there weren't any hidden hooks/drivers when I was done. (Something I don't think many people on this forum could guarantee.)
