I think Anon and every member of it are pieces of shit, but with the things they have admitting to doing there is something of a MO. Or at least something that can show off their level of skill. If this was an organized attack by Anon members under some kind of official bullshit banner they'd probably take credit and make some lame BS statement about doing it to prove a point.

I'm always chuckling at the news, always trying to assign structure and unity to Anonymous, as if it were one person with one mind.

Anonymous is like a giant Venn diagram, and when there is an intersection of enough sets of people who feel the same way about a single issue, something happens. Then the news people believe that every set thinks the same way. They look so stupid every time they do it.

Anons who like freedom of information hate Sony.

All there is to go off on is what they've taken credit for. Yes you could be right, but the "officially announced" actions show DoS attacks and things to con people into rooting for them. MO is the wrong word probably, but can't really make an argument out of my feelings.

Ironically... the Wall Street Journal reported, in the 5/4/11 print edition i read today,in one of the articles on SONY, that sony stated anonymous wasnt involved in the data theft....

The next day they changed their minds? They are doing nothing more than deflecting attention from their shitty security to try and blame anonymous, while garnering support to help try and tackle them and eliminate a viable protest movement... whether you agree with them or not...atleast they are attempting to do something about some of the bullshit online and that big corporations do... right or wrong...you also have the ability to protest their actions... write your legislature/congress/senator about them if you dont like it... or join them if you agree... but put up or shut up with all the whining and pick a side.. or remain silent and watch american idol and do nothing like most americans...

No dos attack is a simple case of your dragging the targets bandwidth down till its a slow as shyt coz there's no firewall in the world that can stop it. You have to disable the firewall sometime to investigate.

I did say kindly. And yes my statement about Anon was a tad extreme, I don't have a filter I say what I think its as simple as that. I said I didn't like Anon so people would realize I'm not trying to defend them due to some misplaced belief in their BS. I responded to your accusation by explaining my thoughts fairly clearly. In case you missed it: I think Anon is full of shit. I don't believe that they're doing anything for a noble cause and I don't believe they give a damn about people. Can't help you taking it seriously. My opinions were not a troll though. My beating around the bush on the Scientology issue was less a troll and more enjoying dragging you around. Despite that I've yet to say anything I don't believe. Trolling generally involves making someone mad. I'd like to point out that YOU extended the argument after I said why I didn't like Anon. Which I will admit was a mislead reason to dislike them. You gave me an accurate reason to do so.
