PC, completely underwhelmed with what the 360 can do, i'll still try the 360 demo when it's plopped up on live marketplace.

awesome game on pc. I think/know my venice 3200 @2.5ghz is bottlenecking my dual 7900gtxs. Is this a game designed arund dual core technology?

The plasma is out of the gaming equation since I never even considered it for gaming when I bought it 14 months ago. Simple fact is that the 360 costs as much as a high end video card. And how would you rather game.......sitting with your face next to your computer screen at a desk or 9 feet away from a high def plasma with a wireless controller on your lap on a comfy couch playing a hi def widescreen game? (BTW, Xbox live is $50/yr....so what and the other accessories are not needed). 360 FTW.

I have a 50" widescreen TV hooked up to my 360 yet I still prefer PC gaming. Thats why I preordered the PC version.

I initially voted 360, because i think the overall experience would be more solid. Due to simpler setup no faffing etc. But after running the demo the PC in my sig (which ran very well at decent settings) I might get it for my PC. Undecided. But either way...it looks to be a great game.

That is not a good experience to me. I love the simplicity of connecting a console and grabbing the game pad, but I don't think it works as well for FPS games. Racing games and things like that, I prefer on console.
Plus in this case, I'll take a $50 game over a $60 game. I can still always hook my PC up to my TV if I want to game on that.
BTW Prey actually supports the Logitech G15 keyboard. My health and Spirit meters showed up on the LCD display.
To those suggesting that the graphics between the PC and Xbox 360 versions are different, I would beg to differ. With the settings turned up all the way on my comp running at a custom res of 1280x720 (effectively 720p) versus the Xbox 360, I noticed absolutely no difference. I guess the reason to get the PC version would be if you have a monitor that supports higher resolutions or if you hate gamepad controls. I like gamepad controls for FPSs (I know, I'm weird), so I'm kind of neutral as to which one to get. The PC version is $10 cheaper, though.

Why not get actual gameplay and superb performance for a good price ? I've been an avid PC gamer for 16 years, and the Xbox 360 was by far the smartest gaming purchase I've made in probably 8-10 years.

I absolutely suck at first player FPS's... I ALWAYS GET lost and get really bored really fast. I'm not too shabby at CS:S but I cannot finisha a first player FPS for teh life of me. Where do you go at the bar? I wasn't really paying attention to what people were saying cause I had people over, but what are you supposed to do? Is the action any good in the game?

Can your PC run it well? That's the important question.
If you've got a PC fast enough to run it, it's certainly the best option.
How good is your 360 setup vs. your PC's setup?
Sure you can plug your PC into your TV, but it's a hell of a lot easier to hook up the Xbox seeing how that's how it was designed.
It really all comes down to your setup for both.

Eastvillager, you think most people are going to have their PCs in their living room next to their couches or something? Yes, you can hook a PC up to TV. Is this a good idea for computers that have any purpose beyond entertainment? No. You did it, good job. I'm glad you wrote three posts about it. I actually use my computer for work, so dragging into the living room away from my desk isn't going to happen.
Also, what's with extolling PCs for having higher resolution and then recommending that people hook them up to low resolution TVs (which typically support 720P at best)? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
We get that you're not a console gamer, but your wacky way of doing things isn't a legitimate substitute for owning a console in my eyes. I enjoy gaming on my PC but there is a difference between consoles and PCs in what they're useful for. I wouldn't want to substitute one for the other.
