Wish I had off for the game have a week in October which works. Harlowe shoot Rainbows make pretty pictures wasnt that in Apocalypse Now. Or wait that was Oddball shooting Paint Canisters in Kellys Heros.
 
Will hunt for a code. Not paying full price. Doesn't seem enticing. Also BL3 was a chore to play.
 
Picked up a code for this. Hope the gunplay is actually good. The latest video made it feel very loose and an exercise in trying to get some precision out of the guns.
 
Next week 12th its going to be Epic won't be able to play untill following weekend the game has more utility than the last game plus vechicals which might make the game feel like destiny.
 
What I'm seeing stuff doesn't look oversaturated in colors but has a more realistic looking tone. The best part of Borderlands 3 was the beginning part the with claptrap trying to break into the psycho dump. The rest if the game was polished to the point where it was forgettable. I think up to the 1st Boss on Pandora Birderlands 3 was good with the speaker guy. The change in scenery in Borderlands 3 wrecked immersion. Then you had Tiny Tinas Wonderland which threw everything out the Window. Good game but numbing.


The best part of Borderlands 4 I'll get to play it cancer free. Just need to make it till next week.
 
I can now play on release since I have a code so I will keep you guys posted how shit or good it is.
 
You can see the logo on Steam is similar to Borderlands 2 while Borderlands 3 is something else. Plus it launched on Epic back then.
 
Anyone dropping out of Steam realized how much of a financial mess it creates for them. Glad to see everyone come back to their senses including Microsoft.
 
This series is 16 years old already the kid in electronics said Borderlands 1 is a good game I was hooked 1-2 years on my PS3 Slim and projector.
I'll be lucky to see another 16 years. I like the crazy recitals in this game once you see those damage numbers with low powered guns. I wonder how crazy the Gernades will be in this game. In Tiny Tinas Wonderlands there were some really different grenade mods.

I want to play this but I also think Randy Pitchford can go fuck himself over the ridiculous pricing.

What's even worse is I bought a 5080 just a few weeks before the promotion started. I'm torn, I can either grab this from Greenman Gaming for $110 or hold out to see if I can get a better price from someone who doesn't want it selling their nvidia code... or just not buy it at all.

I won't buy it till it hits less than $40. If it doesn't go that low, I won't buy it at all.

It's $70, which is now the standard price for games. What's ridiculous about it?

Agreed- this isn't a case of base game is full game. They are flat out paywalling multiple vault hunters (fine in historical view), and what sounds like main story chapters (very very not OK). If they specified it's just season pass, you are not missing anything central I'd be OK, but they are making it sound like you are not getting the full story without it. (I'll admit I've been avoiding the generally useless gamer press, so I may incorrect)

or just buy the DLC's individually after they launch...some of the story DLC's might not be good so it's better to buy the base version at launch and the Season Pass or individual DLC's later on...that's what I usually do

pre-order or DLC exclusive story missions usually suck and are not worth it...the base game is fine for 90% of people
 
BL DLC has always been crap to me. I never was interested enough to attempt it.

Base game for 40$ is as far as I go with it.

The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep were the shit!
Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot wasn't bad either to farm.
 
Guess I am not the biggest Borderlands fan. For me the games are overly repetitive and after a while not fun. The story is always not that interesting either. I give it a fair shake and complete the main quest but that is about it for me.

I mainly got this to try a different style of fps and complete my collection plus it was on discount.

Borderlands 2 did exactly that 13 years ago. Blizzard has been doing it for like 2 decades. Fighting games have "paywalled" characters for quite some time. The precedent for this has long been set.
