Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I was using SP1 for months with no problem though.
Also powercycling does not help in this situation, believe me I've tried many times on both of them. Since this is limited to my laptop I'm not sure if it's on my end or it's one of the routers...
I've been having issues with my wireless connections for a few days. I use two WEP enabled connections primarily (at different houses) and both of them seem to lose the internet randomly every few minutes--it doesn't depend on what I'm doing or if I'm even using the internet at all. It drops the...
My Macbook doesn't seem to want to play any discs. When I insert a DVD (a store bought one not a burned one), in frontrow it says "Disc not supported." I tried to install Leopard today and it wouldn't load as well.
When I insert a disc it sounds okay for a second, then it makes a noise like...
video card issue - display wont work unless i use onboard video
Ok, i have a maingear dash. I know it's a prebuilt but bear with me.
I have a motherboard with onboard video memory and I have a PCIe card (ATI 2600XT I think). Anyway, when I plug my video cable into the PCIe card in the back...

Well I just wanted to update you guys that I did end up ordering the Dash. Maingear has already called me to confirm my order and everything. I'm impressed with their customer service already. So we'll see.
Well as I said, I'm okay with replacing anything EXCEPT the mobo and CPU. I'm now leaning towards the dash, despite my love affair with Costco. ;) I just don't know.
this is why i really wanted to buy it from costco. i know they certainly cannot control the quality of the product, but from my personal experiance i have never bought anything of really poor quality from costco. i've shopped there for years and trust their purchasing choices. i've just never...
with an upgraded video card, would it be able to play new games for a bit? i'm not into heavy games, but i would like to be able to play things like starcraft ii, elder scrolls oblivion, fable 2, stuff like that.
i really don't care about the newest technology i just want to run well for awhile.
Okay I am REALLY impressed with the Maingear dash. I am seriously considering it especially after reading a few glowing reviews about the company itself (including on [h] consumer). Is there any cons to this thing? I would probably get ingrated video and then just buy a new card later.
