Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I updated my bios and it still produces the same error. It is probably some compatiblity issue with the laptop. I doubt that it being two different speeds has anything to do with it.
I have an Inspiron 1200. It has some wierd integrated 256mb DDR1 PC2700 memory stick in it. I bought an OCZ 512mb DDR1 PC3200 memory stick from Newegg to add to it. I installed it and the screen was all wierd so I assumed that the memory was bad and it was using it for the screen buffer. I...
That's X-Men the Official Game. I fixed the problem. The HSF must have shook loose during the move so I cleaned the surfaces and put some Arctic Silver 5 on there. So far no problems.
I recently moved and upon starting my computer for the first time at the new location and playing a game I found it started to render it incorrectly. There are squares all over the screen with the wrong colors in it. My video card is a 9800 Pro. All connections are good. The computer worked...
Yes, the topic is about XP-M chips.
I got a memory error after playing CS:S for a half hour. I'll try playing again later to see if it was a fluke or if it is true instability. If instability, what's the solution? Naturally underclock it a bit, but would raising the vcore a bit more be...
I'm running very stable with 200x12 with 1.72vc on an AN7 with 2600+. This is my first real attempt at overclocking. I can't seem to get it above 200 on the clock. Just tends to crap out at anything higher. Probably my old ram, 512mb Corsair w/heat spreader PC2700. Anything I can try to get...
I'm having the same problem. No viruses, spyware or anything. Sometimes it restarts instantly, other times it waits a short amount of time. Hitting the hard PSU switch fixes it, but if it is turned back on it'll boot up on its own again (usually not if a long period of time with the switch...
The memory checks out okay. It doesn't like to be set to anything too extreme though. I have it by speed and it won't boot at 137fsb. Do you think all of the problems are just because I haven't unlocked the chip, even though it seems capable of overclocking.
