Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Nope, mine is hooked up DVI. I am almost tempted to call BenQ to get another sent but I don't know if I have to send mine back before I get the other one or I would just run a side by side comparison. I'm going to try it some more over the weekend but I am not overly impressed at all with it.
I received mine on Wednesday and I am not overly impressed with it. The text quality is not sharp at all and the color of text seems off too. Yellow text almost has green qualities to it.
Reading text seems to be 'blocky' even with ClearType on. I am wondering if I got a defective one or...
Welp, just ordered the G2400WD and I get this in my email:

Your order number <removed> has been placed on hold.
Verbal confirmation of your credit card information is required to
complete your order.

Anyone ever have this happen to them through the BenQ store? Thinking...
Nope, just like normal shut down. It's not a virus, fresh XP install, not on the network yet.
Since I wrote the post, it seems to be a faulty power switch on the case. Doesnt surprise me since it's a Coolermaster case. I removed the switch off the board and jumped it with a screwdriver, seems...
So new build, E6400, Asus P5B-E mobo, Buffalo DDR2 667 Value ram, 7600GT, WD Sata 250HDD.
The computer will sometimes boot into windows fine and then just it shuts down randomly. The message "Windows is shutting down" comes up and it plays the shutting down sound. Shuts down all the programs...
No, there is definitely something wrong with my PC. It won't load windows 4/5 times after the splash screen. Reinstalled and everything :(
Edit: http://www.lavalys.com/beta/everestultimate_build_0850_spxoeijrlkm.zip
Installed this beta build of everest ultimate and it's reading the...
ok, I noticed you have the same motherboard. I think it is Everest and our motherboard not liking each other. Now I really have no idea what is wrong with my pc :(
So I built my new system this week finally.
E6600, 8800GTX, 2gb Buffalo Select DDR2 667 RAM (until my patriot comes in), eVGA nForce 680i mobo (I know, I know).
I installed windows and it blue screened during install, rebooted and it installed fine. About 12 hours later my pc started acting...
I put the fan on the way that looks to be the only way on the heatsink. I am running the evga 680i board and there is like no room to put the heatsink/fan on. The fan is currently covering the first slot of my ram DIMMs :( Taking the heatsink off and reseating it, I will have to rebuild the...
Just finished building my new E6600 setup.
E6600 w/ Ninja Rev B heatsink w/ attached 120MM fan all in an Antec p180 case
Behind that is a Nexus 120MM fan that seems to be blowing cold air over the Ninja HSF as well instead of exhausting it out the back of the case. Side of the case is also...
Can't decide between these. They are all using the Micron D9 chips I am almost positive. Going into a E6600/eVGA 680i/8800 GTX build, high overclocking in mind on air. Going to be ordering today so any suggestions would be great. (Buffalo is out of stock @ Newegg)
# Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x...
I found out yesterday before my flight that when it would get into Windows, it would say "Windows is Shutting Down" and shut down properly. It wasn't a hard reboot or anything like that.
He tried a different power supply, same thing. He is going to RMA the board.
Looking good. Gonna have that exact same setup except different PSU and I am getting a GTX instead of the GTS.
How soft is the metal on the Ninja plate? Easy to cut/file if you don't have a dremel?
Everything was pretty much reseated before I left today but we will try again most likely after I get back on Monday. Luckily all my parts are coming in this week as well or we wouldn't have another power supply to test :/
