I have a gateway 450XL which includes an integrated biometric strip -- I have it setup to scan each boot, yet I question its durability. Any advice on how to protect the strip? Documentation from the manf states it is acurate till 1million swipes which I find extremely hard to believe...
Yea, I got it basically for 200$ plus 40$ (which is a testament to how gay Gateway has become to charge for a "box and shipping w/ insurance" to get your laptop fixed UNDER warranty which had cost ~400$ additionally).
