Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
When I play a blu-ray on ps3, it switches to 24p.
No game mode or hz settings on the tv menus.
I've played with all the pass-thru options it doesn't change anything.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi All,
I bought a SONY AV receiver about 6 months ago:
http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=STRDH520
The audio is great, but I don't think it is processing the video optimally for example, if I plug my HD box...
I noticed that my current mobo is PCI Express 2.0:

So maybe I can't upgrade after all without a new build :)
I think looking at the card choices, I think I would be better off with GTX 660 Ti, the only difference I really see is the 192 bit vs 256 bit, not sure what that will do on the performance. One interesting thing I noticed is that the newer cards have internal audio via hdmi instead of a spdif...
Hi there, I am looking to upgrade my video card from a GTX 260 to a GTX 670 FTW:

I am running a i7 920 6gb ram. Would this be a good choice? Would the cpu be a bottleneck to this cards capability or should it be just right...
The audio is perfect, I have a plasma with a 600hz subfield drive so I suspect the receiver doing some processing or something that is slowing it down slightly. I have been reading about pass through and have gone through the menus on the receiver to see if this would help by turning it on/off...
Hi H crew,
I just bought a Sony STR-DH520 AV receiver. When I switch between my inputs I see the 1920x1080/60p. I think the 60p label is new, I kind of notice some lag during fast moving action on TV and Movies. Before I had my HD cable box, ps3, desktop through hdmi directly hooked to the...
Just looking for some recommendations or alternative components for a new mchine I am putting together.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, movies, general use
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

Hi All,
I recently bought a plasma :
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+58%22+Class+/+1080p+/+600Hz+/+Plasma+HDTV/9790779.p?id=1218175546200&skuId=9790779
When I set the resolution on the laptop to 1920x1080, the image displays but it goes beyond the HDTV. Works perfect at...
So I would need to set the voltage for one, and adjust the multiplier and bclk to:
multi: 14 , bclk: 200 instead of 133? Assuming ram multiplier is x8 it's currently running at 1066 mhz?
I do run coretemp and cpuz and now that I think of it, I remember seeing PC3 10600 somewhere and the memory chips are supposed to be PC3 12800:

What do I need to check?
Put it together and booted fine and all is well. My question is, do I need to adjust anything in the BIOS with respect to clock speeds etc? Right now it's using a multiplier of 20x133=2.66 ghz.
