    Quieting a VGA Fan

I have an old GeForce II card in my linux box and the fan is LOUD. Without purchasing a new heatsink/fan for it, what can I do to quiet it down? Can I undervolt the fan? If so, how? Thanks.

    Laptop Comparison - Dell D620 vs. E1405

I"ve got the D620 and I'm happy with it. Mine has a dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro) and I'm able to play Battlefield 2 with decent settings. As for battery life, I haven't run it out in one sitting, so I'm not sure. I've got the 6-cell battery and I'd say it's good for 2.5-3.5 hours...

    Dell Latitiude D620

I've got the d620 with the Quadro NVS 110 and the only game I've tried is Battlefield 2. I can play Battlefield 2 on 1024x768 with low settings no problem, and even medium settings, but it's jumpy due to only having 1 GB of RAM. If I were to get 2 GB it would have no problem with medium settings.

Quiet air cooling for an overclocked Socket A?

http://www.jab-tech.com/ThermalRight-SI-97A-pr-2999.html I went with the ThermalRight SI-97A and a Panaflo L1BX fan, in my opinion is the best as far as Socket A goes.

    KVM or USB Switch?

I have 2 computers and want to use 1 monitor, keyboard, and mouse for both of them. The monitor isn't an issue since it has 2 inputs, but I also have a PS/2 keyboard and a USB mouse. I was thinking about just buying a KVM switch, but since I don't really need the monitor connection I thought...

    Problems OC'ing a Venice 3200+

You're not alone, I'm stuck at 240x10 using 1.45v. I've gone as high as 1.62v and my processor fails prime at 260x10 and 250x10. I've played with the memory dividers, memory timings, different BIOS versions, etc, and still can't get higher than 2400 Mhz. One thing you can try is to use the...

    Issues with 3200+ Voltage

You're not the only one. I can reach 2300 Mhz with the stock voltage, but at 2400 Mhz I have to bump it up to 1.45v. After that, no matter how much voltage I give the processor my computer isn't stable at any higher Mhz.

    Zalman VF-700Cu

How much better is the 700Cu than the 700AlCu? Is it really worth $10 more? Also, I assume you use Arctic Silver on the heatsink, so do I follow the Arctic Silver 5 application instructions that I used for my CPU? Other than a drop in temps, what kind of benefits will I see with this...
