Problem with Ipod Nano + Itunes

Hey guys, Just got my new Ipod Nano tonight, and it's pretty fabulous except for one issue I have. Whenever I connect it to my computer (running Windows 2000, Itunes 5), the ipod updates, disconnects, and then updates again repeatedly. I can't disconnect it because it will start updating...

    GQ Desktop $149, hot deal?

Yeah, I'd go for a TI4200 or other Nvidia card, they have better linux drivers than ATI.

Need replacement power supply under $100...

Hello, Well, it seems I shouldn't have trusted my Rosewill RP-500 500 Watt power supply - it started failing yesterday, about 6 months after I bought it. The 3.3v line, which used to be normal, now hovers around 2.8-2.9v , and the 5v dropped a little too. Thus, it's new power supply time...

    120GB WD good?

Personally, I've had a 40gb WD drive for at least 3 years and an 80 GB for 1.5 years and both of them have been fast and reliable. Also, I work at a small computer firm, and the Western Digital drives we use almost always last for the life of the computer (3-5 years in most cases.)

    IE works, Firefox doesn't. Help!

Well, here's the thing - I restarted the computer this morning, then it worked fine up unitl now. This confuses me. Edit: IE even seems to be failing to load some pages.

    IE works, Firefox doesn't. Help!

Hey guys. Yesterday, I started having this problem - I can use the internet with Internet Explorer (a little more slowly than usual) but Firefox hardly ever works. I can conenct to AIM fine, and everything else that uses the internet seems to work, except when I try to ping a server through...

    Free InterVideo DiscMaster 2

I just downloaded and installed it. Seems decent for the price so far. Burns data, audio, and bootable CDs, but not VCDs. Interface is pretty good. Haven't tried burning anything with it yet though.

    Burning CD's problem

Sounds like you're trying to make an audio CD instead of a (data) CD with all of the mp3/aac/whatever files on it. Audio CD's don't hold track information.

PSU Causing HDD to Shut Down?

I had the same problem as you (my computer would shut off twice before ever getting into windows.) I solved the problem by resetting the cmos. Strange solution, but it did work.
