Problem with Ipod Nano + Itunes

Hey guys,

Just got my new Ipod Nano tonight, and it's pretty fabulous except for one issue I have. Whenever I connect it to my computer (running Windows 2000, Itunes 5), the ipod updates, disconnects, and then updates again repeatedly. I can't disconnect it because it will start updating again before I remove the Ipod from the USB port. Any ideas? Thanks.

Edit, here's the error message from Event Viewer: RSM cannot manage library PhysicalDrive2. It encountered an unspecified error. This can be caused by a number of problems including, but not limited to, database corruption, failure communicating with the library, or insufficient system resources.

Edit 2: After restoring and restarting several times, it has been fixed.

I heard iTunes 5 has problems esp. with Windows...so it might be fixed with a patch soon.

sounds like the same problem I had with my first shuffle, it turned out the flash memory chip was corrupt, I had to get apple to send me a new one and send the broken one to them.
