What do you find is the better tool?
And is there things that one can do that the other can't?
 
Does it matter why?

But if you must ask I want a program that can monitor what tried to access the internet from my computer and gives me the option to stop it. Also one that monitores any bad things in general I get on my PC.
 
a nice little program called "Active Ports" or "APorts" will show you all processes that are either listening or sending on your machine. it will also tell you remote IP and process location as well.
