Hi, I've been using XP for a while now and on my new system (C2D E6600 @ stock on an Asus P5W motherboard)
I've noticed something that seems odd, after ending an application like Outlook or Internet Explorer there is a short 'hang' like its taking longer than it should to shut down said program the whole system seems to halt for a second (Doesnt always happen only from time to time but often enough for me to notice it). Is this an issue that should worry me? Its a little annoying, I cant seem to figure out why this happens, slow RAM? I'm using GSkill 2GBNQ memory @DDR2-800 5-5-5-15(Its not the most expensive RAM really).Could that be the culprit is it simply too slow or does my XP need a performance tweak i havent thought of yet?
Any ideas? Hope I'm in the right forum (;
