XP is getting crazy(SP2)

hi everybody;
after installing SP2 my windows is freezing on the logon screen. when windows is starting my monitor's light is flashing(light on light off...) and it screens black screen.
 
Try starting in safe mode by pressing F8 (I think) just before the XP logo appears, and selecting "Safe Mode" from the menu. Assuming the computer boots into safe mode, start system restore from Start>Accessories>System Tools, and restore it to the point with a name referring to the installation of SP2.
