XFX Geforce 6200 - Major Problem

I just bought a Geforce 6200 from XFX, and everything works fine until the install program for Nvidia's drivers tells me to reboot.

I reboot, then I stare at that ugly green color Win98 background. AND nothing else happens. I waited for 1 hour 21 minutes and 14 seconds, give or take a few seconds, and nothing happened. Specs follow.

Epox 8KRAI Pro Mobo
AMD Duron 1.6hgz
128mb DDR RAM, soon to be 640mb
Onboard sound
No other expansion cards exept the problem vid card
A new Win98 install. Just done before card install.
DirectX 9.0c.

So, uh, what now? I've reinstalled my OS 3 times now because of this, and it's getting old.
