by any chance does anyone know what the cost is of these products? like if u got it for cost what the actual price would be without a company inflating it. (i.e. BestBuy) Because maybe they can actually do this without gaining profit; their just selling it for what they bought it for.

In another thread, there was a guy who was asking about what video card he should get at his dad's companies cost. He ended up getting an x800pro for 151.66 at that companies cost, and that he would have gotten a 6800 but they weren't available at that company yet.

If all that is true, then maybe the actual cost isn't too far off from what they are selling it for, and they aren't taking a huge loss.

Thats just me speculating tho.

The x800 pro is 324.80 at cost through CompUSA's IMS terminal. That cost isn't true cost, however I wouldnt imagine it to be almost 200 bucks under.
 
that deal is correct, its a grand opening for a new compusa in the tustin market place.

actually the card kakyoin is speaking of is for me, and how is $250 unreasonable for the people who paid $150? they made $100. I know what its going for, but its not like im lowballing them. and to anyone who cares kakyoin posted it because he would be paying for it and i would be paying him.
 
why is $250 unreasonable for someone who got lucky in the $150 deal?

because chances are they had to go through hell getting it for that much (as in waiting in line forever and ever) and I'm sure that they'd have the common sense to know that they'd get a hell of alot more than that by putting it up on ebay where it'd easily fetch $325+....

so lets see here. one hand has $250 in it and the other has $325+.... hummmm? which hand would you rather choose?

besides it's not an unreasonable request, however it might be unlikely. If I lived there and a friend from somewhere else offered me $200 to try to get them one I would... so he's was asking for a favor and he gets your shit in return... cute.
