Looking to buy one or some small form factor PC's depending on specs/price. Looking for at least a 9th gen CPU and ideally 12+GB of RAM. I don't need anything higher than a 12th gen CPU really as that will inflate the price too much. I understand if they may sell without a storage drive. I do not want a stripped chassis with no storage, RAM or wifi as example, please. Hoping some of you all have old test or lab systems collecting dust or just did a refresh.

I don't have heat or other proof of purchase history. I'll give the same spiel as I have others I bought from here: I've been here forever, I'm too old to deal with sales gimmickry or last minute barters. If we agree and you hold up your end, mine will be as well. These systems are needed for a school and a humane society which is why I'm looking for older Win11 capable systems. Don't have funding for anything newer most likely. Not looking for special treatment because of that, I mention so you know they won't be flipped for quick resale or other nonsense with the hardware market as it is.

sorry, no hp mini, i only have 1x hp z2g4 sff, but no box to ship it in

USFF are even smaller hence why I asked, but they typically don't have pcie slots for things like a gpu or extra nic.

Yup I follow ya. I mean to say any size variance of a *SFF will do. These will be data entry or projecting classroom info use cases. No real workload and no need for expansion slots. Those desktop towers are generally fine as well, they don’t have a huge footprint but it shoots up ship prices.

I did, thanks. This may sound dumb but I'm not really sold on all these mini pc chinesium variants flooding the market. I know minisforum is a bit more reputable. I've had to work on a few of the no name laptops flooding around for friends and they are not what I would say is worth the cheapness. This may be an uneducated viewpoint but where I'm currently at.

Being I'm looking for charities, having a name brand shows better than a generic to the public as well.
 
MC has some budget priced refurb boxes. I don't know if you have one near you.

If there is one at the Micro Center in KC, I'd be happy to help you get one. Just an option if you need. You never mentioned a price range, but I saw a few at $300 to $600.

Yeah, I'll look into that avenue if I have to. I'm in the St. Louis market area and we have one local. Appreciate the tip and especially the offer of your efforts to grab one for me.

Its all good sir. I am thankful for someone looking out for something I may have missed. Those look like nice units but the same barrier is in my head with the brands involved.

If you want some ram included I can throw some into them. Most people aren't looking for lab mini PCs for win 11 compatibility.

Appreciate the offer but I'll still pass. I agree most people at home don't want a mini pc. Businesses with limited desk space, low power usage desires and no need for expandability do want them. I attached these systems on the back of monitors to keep cables tidy and dust intake to a minimum. Good luck with your selling and thanks again for offering memory with the system.
