Dont need new HD, jsut dont want to pay the premium i can upgrade that later. But if you have it offer anyway, we'll see.

Dont mind TSOP mod, could care less about XBOX Live. All i want is the ability to back up games, play emulators, dvds, and divx's.

That's cheap for a chipped box but I'll give you a bump anyway. You will need a HD if you plan on backing up more than one or two games.
 
i've seen em for around 160, especially TSOP modded should be easy. I have a DVD burner so a HD isn't essential right now. I pay for the essentials first, and later if i have money i can buy what is convenient.

:unsure: i dont know why xbox is essential....
 
it wouldnt be that bad to just buy a used unmodded xbox for like $100 or $110 then get a $60 modchip from www.modchip.ca. most xbox chips now are compeletely solderless which takes out the pain of installing them.
 
yep, just buy a good used one, and get the xecuter 2.6 solderless for $58. You simply srew the thing down. If you can work a screwdriver you can do it.

used xbox = $100.00
chip = $58.00

I could sell you mine, thats chipped, samsung drive, and 120gb HDD, but it would be more than $200.00.

Once you check out xbox media center you will want a hard drive.

Solderless modchips suck. They're way too easy to mess up.

Anyways you should just check out the xbox scene and buy a cheap tsoped xbox. Shouldn't be very expensive at all.
 
The new Xenium is a GREAT chip. I plan on modding my box with it when I get my financial aid here soon.. :-D

looking for a mod that can swap the HD to bigger one and also, I NEED Xbox LIVE. I heard some mods get ban...
 
ALL mods get banned if they're on when you go onto Xbox Live. You have to have a chip, or a multibios tsop with a switch, and a locked harddrive so you can shut off the mod and boot to stock for xbox live.
 
I have to say Xeniums as well. The new Xeniums have XBOX Live protection meaning that it will not let you log on using the hacked bios thus preventing you from getting banned.
 
Solderless chips are simple...installed mine correctly 1st try without any hitches...love it and would do more XBOX's this way...X2.3B lite + works great
 
reading these forums is the worst thing that has ever happened to my bank account. i keep seeing all these sweet setups, cool gadgets, mods and everything else, and i decide that i must have it.

now i am in the market for a xbox to mod, or a modded one.... Thanks alot MikeF98765 ;)
