This is for my dad to do word processing and QuickBooks.

He has been using a 15-ish year old 2500k and it works great, just that he needs Win11 for QuickBooks.

Looking for something small and quiet.
Ideally with 16gb or more RAM

A kit without a drive is fine, as I have a spare SSD I can use if needed.

If you have something post a price shipped to 92612.

You know you could always just use rufus to remove the TPM requirement from a windows iso and install windows 11 on that machine? If he's just using it for basic tasks, and the performance is still adequate for him...Would be rather simple to do. Obviously back up any important files before doing so.

I still have a Getorli 3550H available if that's something you're looking for. I can remove the drive to lower the cost, just let me know how much RAM you'd want in it.

Can you use a older but well functioning Lenovo laptop with Windows 11?
16GB of ram

I can probably dig up an HP Mini 800 G4 (i7 8700k, 512gb Nvme, 2x 4gb DDR4 Sodimms, Win11 Pro) for $85 shipped

---------------------> I do have one, excellent condition, one small ding in the metal cover, doing Win updates now on it
