Hmm. Just the motherboard?

How much are they going for these days?

Your probably looking at the ~$350 to $450 range, depending on if its a "proven" board, or if you can even find one, somehow they have held their "value" quite well

I do need you to post a folding badge of one sort or another if you would :)

I'm (somewhat) in the same boat....but from what I gather, resale on them has not dropped much (if at all). You can get new ones for $400 after rebate at NewEgg....same price as a B-stock from EVGA. Not trying to TC...just saying - you might just want to buy a new one and get the warranty 'cause you'll probably pay about the same price as a used one with no warranty. :) GL

Just the motherboard? Or do you need some spicy chips as well?

And if you're going to spend $400 on a motherboard, why not put it towards a 4P G34 system? :)

Because the processors cost more than $70 a piece. :D (and the board is not >$400)
(assuming he bought L5639's on eBay like I did)

Will do, just went on: http://hardfolding.com/fh_stats/index.php?pz=5&id=8429336&tpn=1

Says stats processing

I just landed on a place that I can keep it on 24/7 :D. My PPD will sky rocket, right now it's on hiatus till I get my setup ready.

Hmm I don't mind either I guess. ;).

I just sold my 2011 rig last month, 3930k :(.

The l5639s are okay, and will do about 3.1Ghz for 170kish ppd.

Glad to know my boards still has value.

I thought you might want my setup. I have a complete rig with two six-core chips running at 3.1. Spicy chips.

Any ideas on how to price a complete big-advance SR2 with chips, heat sinks, dual fans per heat sink, a mobile sized hard drive (320 gb, not an SSD), lots of memory 12 gb (2x6), original SR-2 box with all the goodies?

help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can helpm on the board, as that's how I bought mine from from firedfly.

He gave a SMOKEN deal for $250. I think it should have been even higher though, and 2 212+s were and extra $25 for the pair.

I'm running 5639 es and got mine for $330 but i just found them on ebay for 80 bucks obo for slbzj! Wow the g34 4p have killed this market.

The rest, not sure

$250-$300 easy for the board. There are auctions between $225-$250 right now that I assume will end up at $300 or higher.

CPU's depends. $70 L5639's probably destroyed resale on a LOT of Xeons.

The heatsinks depending on what they are you can probably get $30-$40 for the pair (keep in mind brand new 212 Evo's are $30 a piece)

The ram probably not much, maybe $60? 8GB (2x4GB) kits are roughly $60 new after coupon/on sale. You might be able to get $70-$75 at best.

HD - $35-$40. WD 2.5" 320GB drives are $49 new at MC.
