Looking for a cheap cpu+mobo combo to replace the mobo+cpu in my dns server, which is happily chugging along as a Slot 1 P3 500 (wooo katmai). Existing board lacks a power on after power failure option in the bios, and it's finally annoyed me for the last time (that said, the new board needs to have such an option).

That said, anything that bests a P3 500 is fair game, just as long as it takes sd or ddr, and it doesn't require an eps or atx 12v psu.

Socket As

XP 1900+ and ABIT KT7A with some crazy copper cooler(forget the name, I remember paying a fortune for it. )

The other is in my linux box, which the wife says, get rid of... yes dear :eek:
