Wolfenstein: The New Order

This is basically the former Starbreeze bunch? I like the Riddick games alright but... not sure how confident I feel about this yet.

I'd love to play a Riddick-ified Wolfenstein. I'm right along with you on the uncertainty of it though.
 
Hmm, Yeah I'll have to wait and see more before I'm ready to jump on board. I still enjoyed the last one even though it didn't fair all that well.
 
It wont be hard to improve on the steaming dump that activision left for us on the last title. I hope this is a good game, wolf has always been one of my favorite IP's
 
Not going to lie, this has my interest. As a long time PC gamer back to the OG Wolfenstein... YES
 
for the love of all that is holy bring back RTCW style multiplayer. don't think i'll ever tire of mp_beach.
 
Looks good to me. Second screenshot reminds me of RAGE but this looks better in every way. I expect good shooting in a nice Wolfenstein setting on a bigger scale. Also less invisible walls.

I loved RTW. I hope they make a good sequel and not some trash game to just cash in on the name.
 
RTCW was the best of them. The newest Wolfenstein was pretty good too but didnt have the feel that RTCW had.
 
I loved the original and RTCW,but thought the last game in the series was boring console trash. Not sure how I feel about this one,if they try to modernize it too much it could ruin the atmosphere of the game.
 
I grew up on the original Wolf3D, they better not mess this up otherwise I'll be really pissed. The screen shots give me a lot of hope, I was expecting the worse when I saw it was for current-gen consoles

but really, if its some shitty crysis/alien/Nazi mech game its going to be terrible.

Not at all, I enjoy seeing all that blood fly and there body crumpling to the ground like a wet paper sack just as much as any red blooded American.

I like the setting of the last Wolfenstein (2009?) but the shooting mechanics felt terrible, it's like firing a water gun without any recoil. Maybe it wasn't that bad, but I remember wishing there were more recoil to it.
 
10 years have passed and there's still no worthy succesor of Wolfenstein : Enemy Territory, ET:QW and Brink do not count, both games sucked really bad !
 
True SP is a good reason to celebrate. I tire of the incessant focus on MP with FPSs.
 
Honestly this is good news. They can sink all their resources into a good single player campaign.

All of you that want to play Enemy Territory should go play Enemy Territory and stop expecting a new Wolfenstein to be something that it can't possible hold to your nostalgic memories of the past.

With the way enemies can believably react to being hit in id Tech 5, I could see that actually being quite satisfying.

FEAR 2 used mechs & I loved fighting them. I guess any game with mechs in them earn a few points from me.
