Wireless repeater info

I did a search and didn't show any threads about this topic, so I thought I'd open another one.

I've got a wireless network at my house that currently has decent signal for a distance of about 40 - 50 feet indoors, but we still have a cord from a router upstairs to the downstairs wireless router. I'd like to place a wireless router upstairs and a repeater downstairs to cover the house, but I've never done this before.

Can anyone give me a place to look or a product to check out? Basically I want one wireless router to be a DHCP client to the other.

Thanks much!
