Wireless Mouse with Long Range?

I'm looking for a wireless mouse that extends past the normal 6 feet range. My computer/HTPC looks to be around 8 or 9 feet from the sofa. The BTC Wireless Keyboard I have reaches well beyond 12 feet before it peters out. But I cannot find any mice that seem to match that. I need a mouse to game, not just a pointer. I've searched this forum but havne't come up with anything.

Any ideas or links????? Thanks.
 
i just tested my mx1000......51/2 ft. sorry i tried to help.. but u could get a usb extension cable and run the base to wherever y ou need to...hell several and run it to ur chair or whatever. Just a suggestion
 
You'll probably have to go with a bluetooth mouse. Range is around 30 feet or so.
 
I was hoping the higher end MX series had longer range. But 6 feet won't cut it. And having a wired mouse for a theatre isn't my idea of fun. Bluetooth is expensive. That's why I havne't snagged the reigns on that one yet.
