I have a wired Wacom tablet, and a variety of other wired devices that I use, and don't want to replace.
That being said, our 42" HDTV is about 9 feet away, and none of the cables reach that far. So for right now, the big HTPC is halfway between the couch and the TV.
Is there equipment that allows usb/ps2 devices to plug into a wireless set, and bridge over to a USB receiver on the HTPC, thus eliminating cable issues?
I'm not even sure what to type into Google, and my results thus far have found only wireless USB adapters meant to receive a LAN connection.
Isn't there something like what wireless keyboards have? A transmitter and receiver connected to the computer? Ideally this device would enable me to plug-in my USB hub, and have, essentially, 4 usb ports that could be moved wherever. Simple and clean.
Suggestions?
