I have an illegitimate copy of what I think is the original build of XP on a PC I just bought. Obviously I'm having problems getting updates. For instance, I can't get them at all from M$'s website. I have to resort to 3rd party dl sites. That works well, until I try to get a service pack. The only one I checked out is around 300mb I think. That's just way too much for a 56k modem.

So, is there a site that sells CD's with all the windows updates on them, and if so how much will it hurt when I have to pay for them?

You can do the updates yourself with Nlite, but you still should look into getting a real CD.
