Does a non-OEM (as in full version) of windows pro x64 exist? I'm trying to buy it, but every site I've been to only has OEM versions for sale.

If it does exist, does anyone know where I can find it?
 
That's... well... retarded. I'm not very excited about shelling out $150 for a license that'll expire the next time I upgrade my motherboard.

Oh well, guess I'll stick with 32bit XP. Thanks guys.
 
In the event that your motherboard is defective, MS will let you switch. I have OEM XP64, and when I switched out my buggy DFI motherboard for my current MSI one, I activated over the internet without even a hitch.

If all else fails, shoot your old motherboard when you upgrade.
