Hey everyone!

I need some help finding correct installation instructions for 98SE!

A co-worker of mine recently gave me his old Windows 98SE cd along with the boot up floppy but he had lost the installation manuel apparently.I've yahoo'd for the instructions and tried a few of the results with no success. If any of you happen to know how to install it and don't mind sharing that knowledge I'd very much appreciate it!!

Thank you in advance! :D

It'll really depend on what point you are starting from but if it really is the Win98 OS boot floppy (used to start the installation) what was said above is correct.

If you are wanting to do something a little more involved for the floppy doesn't work, get back to me and we'll see what we can do.

thats a good guide. if your hd needs to be formated: wait for the dos command prompt. it should say:

A:

now type, "C:" without the quotes and press enter.

now type "format c:" without the quotes. it will prompt you to say yes or no. type "Y"
