Windows 7/8 software to view wireless network dbm?

On my android phone I have a program that shows me real time wireless network strength. I need something more accurate then the white bars I see in Windows 7/8. I got a new network adapter and I'm trying to pick up a weak signal on my office computer.

what is a free small program, with no crapware attached that can just show me the dbm of a wireless network?
