The next leak to be posted on WikiLeaks...the secret ingredients found in jail food.

Assange turned himself in at a London police station at 9:30 a.m. and will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrate's Court at 2 p.m., police said. Swedish authorities had issued the warrant for Assange so they can talk to him about sex-crime allegations unrelated to WikiLeaks' recent disclosure of secret U.S. documents.

He was wanted and him and his lawyers worked with police... he walked into the police station, the certainly didn't catch him or anything. He turned himself in, did you read?
 
I wanted this guy gone from the getgo, but he really crossed the line when the strategic sites list was released publically. When you put millions of lives on the line with shit like that, its time to be taken out.
 
He didnt wrote a book or fictionalized anything. Just made the "communication" that happens amongst our overlords public.

You have no problem knowing that the list of strategic sites made public could directly affect millions of Americans/Europeans? I could live with the communications he mad public prior, but he went past the point of no return when this latest list was released. Proof that some things arent meant for everyone to know.

I have a feeling he's innocent, and in time he will be seen as a hero for representing the truth-seekers.

Of course, I don't know either way, but I'm not gonna jump to some outrageous conclusions and go with death/torture wishes. You can't possibly think that will do any good, do you? It may very well help the argument he's trying to make.

No offense, but Kyle sounds like one of those r-tarted Republicans on Fox News that keep saying they want him to be executed for being a ''cyber terrorist''.

A real democracy is keeping the government open to the people and having access to information our elected representatives do or aren't doing, if we're being raped from behind by multiple foreign banks where in which the U.S. Government has been sending loads of cash to as opposed to the American people. We have to the right to know about that.

This guy leaks information that makes the US look bad.

In turn, thousands, maybe more muslim fanatics 3000 miles away want you to burn and die.

I'd say him dying would justified as he's surely already got at least 1 person killed that would have lived, if he had not leaked data.

Also, the first thing that got him popular (the famous Reuters helicopter video) was taken out of context on wikileaks as I saw the entire video before he even leaked it. He then had the video chopped and made to where it FALSELY portrayed the US pilots as heartless, thoughtless killers of innocents and children.

And that was 100% not the truth if you saw the entire-damn-thing like I and many others have.

1) The van with kids was obviously unknown. It was in a war zone though, and they knew it was in a war zone because they went to pickup a guy whom was shot. WHY WOULD YOU PICKUP SHOT PEOPLE WITH KIDS IN THE BACK OF YOU VAN????..... and in a war zone?!?!?! Common sense here.... and many people obviously lack it if you didn't think these questions.

2) The Reuters guys were walking with a group of terrorists before they were shot... there was a guy with a camera (which wikileaks portrayed as "the innocent camera guy accused of having an RPG instead") --- But what wikileaks CUT OUT OF THE VIDEO was that the cameraguy was walking with a bigger group of guys BEFORE, and one guy (not the camera guy) was 99.999% sure to be carrying a big,long RPG-7. Then the group broke up and the camera man got toasted.

Wikileaks portrayed it as SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN.... and that's how wikileaks is here and we are talking about them.

This guy is a huge douche nozzle who thinks he has power, when all he really has is some idiot hacker and a dumbass govt intel officer kid (under 25) whom didn't get attention when they were younger I suppose. So now they try to gain fame by being the robin hood of secret data, when really they are just a few douchebags who are primarily out for fame and that's it.

We haven't been a real democracy since long before everyone here was born. Anyway, there are surely things that the public should be privy too, however asking for 100% openness is stupid as there is information that needs to be kept secret to protect lives. There needs to be some level of secrecy kept for some sensitive information. The problem comes in with the way this guy seemed to act about that fact. He acted like he simply didn't care if he ended up releasing info that could get other people hurt or killed and that is where I have a serious problem with him and the site. If nothing else he deserves a swift kick in the balls for his attitude.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure how he has done anything to make anyone's life better. Instead he has helped foreign government's intel and the terrorist propaganda machine.

There are some things that sound great in principle, but do not work in the real world. Just like in a family/friendship/job some thing should remain secret and honesty is not always the best policy. Obviously you do not go to any news site, never watched any news channels, or even went to google news or yahoo.com cause it's blasted on the front page of all this stuff.

You might call me a loser who doesn't get out.... but it takes 10 seconds to check the latest Google news all over the world via my phone lol. And I do it when I'm waiting for somebody/something all the time.... you should to man.

So if it turns out we have freedom of the press and 1st amendments rights in this country and people like Mitch McConnell doesn't like that cause your actually sharing the truth to the American people and the people of the world well then we got to to change the law, we don't want to be America anymore, we want to be a different country where we crush out reporters and disseminate information that the government is not in favor of. If Assange is an information terrorist, then is the next guy who defines the next leak... or maybe it's not a leak, may its jsut a story the government doesn't like, or maybe it's just a story Newt gingwich, or Bill O Reilly doesn't like or any of these guys, are they not reporters anymore, but information terrorists?

Yes. Only uncivilized people would want capital punishment for people who commit espionage against their country. Civilized people would do their best to find the nuclear launch codes and give them to this guy, so he could print them, right?

For some reason i just see this guy as a shit-sturring, show off, girl grabbing, wannabe celebrity. It's not really journalism is it? I'm not sure, It seems like it's just getting hold of documents that are protected from the public and giving them to the public via the lowest of low "newspapers" like The Sun, just to hear his name/site said and to bring the irrational-national to turn on it's government.
