I've been racking my brain looking at a new mobo that is socket 754 and supports PCI-e. I keep reading the reviews on NewEgg and it seems like people have issues with all the boards of this configuration. I want to find one asap so I can order my new PCI-E video card. Who is happy with their mobo? Who's friend has one and he/she is happy?
 
The DFI Infinity with the nF4-4x chipset is the only wise choice for a 754 motherboard with PCIe
 
The DFI or the Biostar TForce (if you can deal with a micro atx board) are your best bet. Otherwise I'd go with the Abit, MSI or Asus, but it doesn't look like Newegg has any of those in stock.
