well, my good friend tekieb had retrieved some bawls for me from quakecon and i must say that i love that stuff, i had a game of poker with about 20 people tonight and i just utterly dominated everyone. there were a few times where i was down but then in the end i came up strong and won!


what was your first experience with this quintessence of a drink?
 
that shit is same shyt like sprite except for caffine....i ordered a case from the nerd site and i finshed it....and the first experence was when i boraught and didnt sleep untill noon :rolleyes:
 
it has an odd taste, probably because ive never had a guarana before (wtf is that anyway?)

for someone less than 21(and doesnt drink anyhow) i like it better than anything else ive ever had :)
 
Had my first one at the RITfest LAN. My team won a case in teh UT2004 onslaught tourny.

bawls did not cause you to win at poker, bawls is not worthy of it's hype, none of those energy drinks are.
 
Got some at a local shop, just for the hell of it. Didn't really give me any energy but it tasted pretty good
 
i didnt say that it did cause me to win, but it helped keep me awake

better than any soda would ever do, (or the 5-6 i would usually consume in the time that i had 1 bawls)
 
Vanilla coke is where its at, a friend gave me some bawls once didnt really like the taste.
 
I ordered a bottle from thinkgeek.com a year ago, and thought it was too sweet. I'm more of a diet drink kinda guy. I have yet to try their new diet version though.
 
At a LAN Party, we needed some extra cable, so went to CompUSA just in time before they closed. We saw the Bawls display, and walked out with a couple cases. Been hooked ever since.

Got a newegg shipment today for a new computer I'm building, and I have one bottle of the stuff reserved for the first successful boot.
 
Had my first at LANWAR 6 I think it was, can't handle too much of it, makes my heart beat fast.
 
Buddy if mine brought over a case for a lan party I was having, everyone there was sceptical at first but after one bottle all of us were hooked. It just tastes so damn good.

Sorry I will not drink something called BAWLS. We talked about it in my Marketing class and everyone agreed that the name is horrible. Plus I think all "energy" drinks are nothing but over hyped sugar water. :rolleyes:
 
It was either the CPL or a local LAN... I can't remember now.

Let's see. I think I saw one sitting on the shelf at the Hy-Vee and decided "what the hell, let's see if it's any good." It was fantastic. Bought all I could get at the grocery store (didn't like ordering food/drink online at the time), which was precious little. I loved the taste of it (like Josta... man, I LOVED me some Josta), and the little extra caffeine is an added bonus.

This was all before I found out that carbonated beverages make my throat bleed. Ah, well, back to Water Joe.

I don't know. While the name in itself may be crude (and inspire young n00bs to start laughing every time they say the name), it does inspire conversation and leads to catchy (or whatever) slogans and radio commercials.

Hehe...my first experince was at the FITES 100 man lan (had to do the cheap comercial for my lan group) But yes, the stuff kicks ass IMO
 
At your girlfriends house after you left cause she wanted somebody that could last awhile :D
 
I tried my first one yesterday, I found it at a small local store close to my friends house. I actually got a noticeable caffine buzz from it, but that was also right after drinking a 20 oz. tripple shot mocha. I thought it tasted pretty good too though.
 
I was six... and a stranger pulled up a black van.. he offered me candy ... and yes I accepted. Upon arrival to his secret liar under a local baseball stadium I was chained to the wall and stripped naked.

4 hours later this man, unzipped his pants an ... d .....

I think I had one... oh, about four years ago when they debuted at a CPL event. Maybe it was three. It was good, but it doesn't give me the jolt that everyone else seems to get. I've got ADD and all it does it activate the sleeping centers of my brain and just mellows me out. You could say it has the opposite effect that it's intended to have.
 
I think i'm going to substitute one of my favs Red Bull & Vodka with Bawls & Vodka and try it out....

Normally I head to Laughlin, NV this weekend, party and bang randome chicks. But I've taken the past few months off to get back on track, back in shape and such so I'm LAN'in instead this year. However this hasn't stopped my lining up some warm female for sunday night :)

So... I game for 2.5 days...reeking it up with buddies, just gaming over and over. Go home, shower, head to beach, bang bang bang.. the only bad part is... I know her name :eek:
 
Had my first expeirence back in early 2000 at wastelan in tampa. I've always thought the stuff tasted pretty good. My clan won a box in a CS tournament. They ended up shipping it to me and I got some stickers and a t-shirt with the case. Still have the t-shirt and wear it occasionally. Says Who's Got Bawls? in big letters on the back.
 
Just read what I had posted. I can't believe how incoherent it was. It has to be because of the lack of sleep, or something. Oh well.
 
bawls + vodka in shot = fabulous.

be careful though. mixing energy drinks and alcohol is illegal in europe cause it can kill people, I think.
