Bonus points: If it shows why we should use it instead of paper money

I know you asked for articles, but this might help. Andreas Antonopoulos explains Bitcoin clearly because he's been involved in it so long and has spoken at countless conferences.

Edit2: My favorite is his talk to the Canadian Senate. It's a little dry, really interesting though.
