Weird PS3 & WHS problem

About every 3rd or 4th time I put a Handbrake encoded video up on the WHS server in the Video folder, it does not show up in the PS3 directory list.

I navigate to the directory (using the lame DOS like folder view), and the .mp4 file is not listed.

My W7 PC sees the directory and all the video files no problem. Watching them works fine. It is just the PS3 that sometimes cannot see them.

To fix it, I end up have to re-copy the file up to the WHS once or twice, and then the PS3 sees it.

Homebuilt WHS using an AMD AM2 chip and ASUS MB. Using latest version of WHS that still includes Drive Extender. Folder duplication is off.

Any thoughts, insights?

Thanks.
