So i just installed vista ultimate 64bit fine on my second drive , been booting fine each time. Came up with a boot screen vista or earlier windows etc.... once i removed the dvd from the drive it just boots right into xp and doesnt have a boot screen anymore. :(.

-edit- fixed it by moving the drive with vista on it up in my bios settings.
