I would like to get some kind of Certification to say I am competent in web design. I know there are MCSE, A+, NET+ etc. for networking. But what certifications, if any, are there for web design? I know that XHTML isn't exactly rocket science, but I'd like to be able to give some evidence that I "know" what I say I do.
My boss called me today so he can put some info about my background on an RFP we are trying to win, and it became obvious to me that while I know what I am doing, I don't look that way on paper due to my lack of any certs and an incomplete college education. My resume reads great, but on an RFP they want to see some kind of "proof" not just "x years experience, blah blah".
Anyway I'd be looking for something like XHTML, CSS, or even ASP, php, Coldfusion (these last three are prob easier to find a credible cert). The w3 offers a online cert but to me that is not credible at all...any monkey could do that....
Anyway thanks in advance..
