We have recently bit hit with theft of a couple wireless access points. Is there anything we can do to try and track these?

We have been watching eBay and Craigslist to see if anything shows up.

Thanks for any help.

Where are you? I was thinking you could maybe war drive around and see if the MAC Address of the AP shows up

Do you have the MAC of those AP's ?

Probably not much you can do. Keep searching craigslist and eBay. Also file a report with the local PD. They can't do much, but it's good for insurance purposes if you want to go that far.

Where were the APs? Outside I assume? You could try to secure them better basically, and also concealing them wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Like mentioned there's not much you can do to get them back, but take some preventative measures, be sure to get the MAC addresses and serials off all the units in the field so easy filing with the local PD, see if your company has insurance for such things, and try to conceal them a little better.
