I heard somwhere that vsync does not work with SLI, that true?

Since I use a flat panel now I actually use vsync so my games dont look like crap when moving around. Would suck if that were true.
 
well seeing as you have an X850 XTPE it doesn't really matter that much to you, plus sli doesn't work on widecreen monitors right now, so sli is pretty much out of the question for you anyway. Crossfire's probaby gonna a better solution for you(if they have widescreen support).
 
I was planning on going SLI with the G70's.

Now knowing this I may just keep my XTPE and go with a crossfire solution.
 
vsync doesn't work with AFR, but it should work with SFR.

Also the widescreen problems have been fixed to a certain extent, though there are some monitors that still exhibit problems. The 2405fpw is definately now working with widescreen + SLI though.

The G70 looks to be fairly interesting as the GTX seems to come with 1 dual link DVI port + 1 single link DVI port.
