• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hi gang,
looking for something to replace our current WinVNC installs on client machines. We're getting drilled on our security audits for "weak password encryption".

We have around 200 machines. Would PC Anywhere be the best bet? RAdmin? We'll be starting from scratch but the MAIN concern is that passwords and/or the actual session traffic is encrypted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Remote desktop is encrypted, right? Might not work on all the computers.

RealVNC does 128 AES. Sounds pretty secure to me, other than the NSA seeing everything. :p

Yeah but if the NSA is eyeing you you've got bigger problems. :p

Anyone know how strong the XP Remote Desktop encryption is?

Set up your network to only allow IPSec connections, then no matter what you use its encrypted.
