In my un-ending search for a new video card, I'm a bit confused about the VIVO option on some video cards. I'm using a Dell 2405 LCD and would like the option of Video In - Video Out. I noticed that some of the cards, like the PowerColor x800xl, are a few bucks more for this option.

Here's my question, is the VIVO option on the video card worth the extra dollars? Will a separate tuner card provide the same VIVO functions? Is my Dell 2405 capable of a similar feature? Thanks!
 
a Vivo card will only allow you to input from an componet type of video source sound will have to be inputted thru the sound card, a full blown tuner card will accept all kinds of inout includding Coax cable, Svideo, Componet and will also have the connectors to hook up the audio.

a VIVO card will be good for use with an video console, but if you want to watch TV on your computer you should get a tuner card.
