Vista Boot Hang

I've had my OEM version of Ultimate running perfectly for months now without a hitch.

I dual-boot between V and XP media center pretty regularly, but now I am unable to boot into my V partition. It goes up to the boot screen, I see the boot screen finish, then it just hangs and my monitor disables.

I can hear activity on my HDD, and the computer doesn't restart, it just hangs.

I can boot into XP fine, and look into the V HDD partition just fine and checking the V partition for bad boot sectors comes up empty, so I know the HDD isn't shot.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is, I'm pretty sure the last time I booted into V I disabled the floppy drive because, well, I never use it.

Would disabling a floppy drive cause Vista to hang on boot? Am I missing something here?

I'd appreciate any input on the matter, I'm mildly stumped here guys

-Thanks a Million
