So the The problem i am having is that whenever i am playing BF2 i get kicked from any server with punkbuster because it will not update in game, and it reads to update manually please visit evenbalance.com so i did and i followed all the directions but when it gets time to save the in the punkbuster file it tells me i can not do it because i am not the admin.. However I am. Is there a quick fix to this?

If you can download the file, save it to your pc, then right click the file and "run as administrator".
 
umm i knew about that right click thing but i'm still playing around with it
 
works 4 me with compatability xp sp2 mode/admin

if it doesnt play nice.. you should just move your install directory outside of program files... ie c:\games\bf2 ..<- gets you around some of the UAC stuff
