I havent been in the hardware game since 2003.

I'd like to know if all recent (within 2010) AMD motherboards (AM3) and AMD processors now support virtualization. The newegg ad's often don't state it and neither does google or the ASUS site. I'm assuming this is because its an industry standard.

I want to run Hyper-v Server R2 on an AMD box with 8GB DDR3.

Any info would be great.

Yes, they do. I'm running two ESXi servers, one with an Athlon II X3 405e and another with an Athlon II X4 600e, and they both support it.
