Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have an old Compaq 2.5Ghz computer which works fine, and I plugged a PCI radeon graphics card into it, and it won't post. The PCI slots otherwise work fine. The power just blinks and dies. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
#1 I recall on a lot of older computers, you needed to specify an external video source in the bios (aka switch a setting from integrated video to pci video somewhere in the bios) then it posted.
#2 I have had bitchy cards that don't work in certain computers for stupid reasons.
#3 I'm sure you've tried it in another computer already to rule out the card being bad, right?
