alright so I got a cyberpower built back in 2013 and haven't replaced any hardware since (also haven't used it much). I wanted to get back into WoW and was wondering if I could get by just swapping out my video card and hard drive(hard drive went out like a year ago). I currently have a NVIDIA Geforce GTX660 2GB 16x PCIe 3 and a X79A-GD45 DDR3 ATX mainboard with 3 gen3 PCIe x16 and 4 PCIe X1. (not sure what a lot of that means because I'm not tech savvy at all) My question is can I swap for a NVIDIA GTX 960 directX 12 128-bit GDDR5 or won't that be compatible with my motherboard? I'm only playing WoW too so keep that in mind. And also, will my intel core i7 3820 quadcore 3.6gGHz 10MB/s CPU be okay for WoW gameplay or is it too dated?

that GTX 960 card should work fine. the only thing you may have to look out for on that platform is issues with RTX 2000 cards but Geforce 900 and 1000 and any Radeon will work.

It should run just fine, even if the mobo only supports pcie 2.0. I ran a GTX1070 on a Core i5 3330 and played much more demanding games.
