Vice City Help

I have already tried to search quite a bit, but to on help. I have a question about GTA:Vice City. When I first got the game I stopped playing it shortly after the missions from the mansion (The one where you get the cop uniform).
Well I recently started playing it, and after flying the apache helicopter at a friend's house, I want to fly it in my game. I know that it's at the military base, and that if you get the cop uniform the military guys won't shoot you or that you can get all the hidden packages. I want it from the military base without having to find all the hidden packages, but it doesn't appear there. I have checked over and over and still no luck, so my question is: Is there a specific mission, or a percent of the game you have to complete for the apache helicopter to appear at the military base?

its been a while since i played that game but i think you might have to finish all the missions before itll appear at the base

Thanks for referring to gamefaqs, found my answer on there. You have to beat "Keep your friends close", the last story mission.

The game has to be 100% done to get the rides. If you have a gameshark you can get the code and type it in. I can't remember if thay have a Cheat for it.

You just have to beat all the main storyline quests to get the apache.

I am done the game too and I have never seen the Apache before...I'll have to check it out tonight.
